I have been a practicing nurse for 27 years and in the mental health area for over 20 years, serving those with chronic mental illness and addiction. Each person has their unique life story that has led them to me as a nurse. It is a privilege to collaborate on their personal goals to help understand medication and treatment, and provide resources to lead a healthy, independent, and ultimately a fulfilling, purposeful life.
